H2O1 Hosts Successful Local Stakeholder Consultation (LSC) in Indonesia.

H2O1 Co. Ltd., a global leader in sustainable solutions, embarked on a climate journey in

November 2023 with a visit to the plastic waste collection community, Waste Bank (Bank

Sampah), near Bekasi, Indonesia. The purpose of this visit was to establish a RePL Impact Center, a pivotal step towards advancing plastic waste management practices in the region.

As part of their commitment to community engagement, H2O1 organized a LSC session during the visit. The session aimed to gather opinions and feedback from on-site community members, laying the foundation for the RePL Impact Center. This event marked a significant moment in fostering collaboration between H2O1 and the local community, with an emphasis on mutual development.

On the day of the event, more than 30 local community members actively participated in

discussions focusing on practical system improvements essential for optimizing the plastic waste collection process. Recognizing the importance of this input, H2O1 announced plans to systematize the collection process through the RePL Plastic Waste Reduction Program.

The program’s strategic approach involves continuous education and welfare program

enhancements to empower the community and elevate the local waste management ecosystem. The commitment to community activation aligns with RePL’s broader mission of sustainable and responsible plastic waste management.
